The Arizona Diamondbacks have risen dramatically in the MLB standings, transforming their season with nothing short of a spectacular surge.

Performance Despite Injuries
What's perhaps even more commendable is that the Diamondbacks have achieved this without some of their key players. Christian Walker has been sidelined with an oblique strain since July 30, and Gabriel Moreno suffered a groin strain last week. Additionally, Paul Sewald had to be removed from the closer's role due to struggles, but the team hasn't missed a beat.

Corbin Carroll's resurgence has been a significant factor in the Diamondbacks' success. Arizona's offense has been firing on all cylinders, hitting .305/.368/.565 over the past 20 games and averaging a stunning 6.90 runs per game during that stretch. Significant contributions have come from throughout the lineup, including Adrian Del Castillo with a walk-off homer against the Phillies and Alek Thomas with a clutch, game-tying two-run single against the Blue Jays.
This explosive offensive production, combined with solid pitching, has seen Arizona's postseason odds soar dramatically. According to FanGraphs, during their 17-3 stretch, the Diamondbacks' postseason odds jumped from 40.5% to an impressive 91.5%.
